First week here is done!

Well, folks. It has officially been one week since I left my friends, family, and the life in Alabama that I had just started to establish. Week one went okay, despite missing my friends and family. I was depressed a lot this week, trying to focus my energies on unpacking, finding a job, and staying in communication with friends.
That helped somewhat, until I saw, heard, or did something that reminded me of my life in Alabama. I have a few things that I am going to miss more than anything though.  One thing is my sunday school students. I miss each and everyone of them dearly. The second thing I am going to miss is my family and friends. The third thing I will miss is those fabulous Friday nights at Biscuit King. I got my Harris County Library Card today and am already putting it to good use. Life in Houston is going okay for this plain country girl in the big city so far.  Always remember to smile and Have a blessed day! Stay tuned....
